Arundel!

As promised, some photos of Arundel.
No other exciting news unfortunately, work, work and more work is all I'm up to at the moment. Pleased the weekend is here now though so a bit of time to chill.

Not getting much creative time either but I'm working on it LOL!

Ooooh, a lil bit of creativity

At last I have a couple of things to show.........not very exciting though unfortunately.

I made my first Maze Book.....yay! I think they are great little books and will make ideal presents. My first attempt is ok but I have seen much, much better.

















My second little viewing is the K Page of my Christmas Journal. I utilised some old Christmas cards for this one.














We went to Arundel yesterday and I had a good play with my camera. Blogger is being a bit of a pain tonight so I'll upload those another time.

Work has been getting me down a bit lately! I don't like to blog bad things but I just don't think it inspires me anymore. I'm seriously considering a career change but, to be honest, I just don't know what to do yet. I'd love it to be arty related but I'm not sure what yet.

If I ever come close to anything near a decision you'll be the first to know peeps.

Gosh, another week!

Actually I knew I hadn't blogged in a while but I simply have had NOTHING to show you or tell you......how dull is that!!

I've had my camera for a couple of weeks now and, apart from the day we went to Marwell Zoo, it has done nothing but RAIN ever since I bought it. I'm soooo disappointed because I was really looking forward to some lovely walks to try it out, so hence, no pictures to show you!

I've joined a photography forum and they are so helpful over there, I am a complete novice and the pictures they post up are amazing but they really don't seem to mind me asking dim wit questions. Beauty of internet....I can't see their gritted teeth LOL!

Anyway, with any luck, the rain will stop soon and I'll be able to get out and take some practice shots.

It was the big release of the Bubbly Funk May Kit today, I love preparing the kits, Caroline has such fabby stuff. I made a little mini book this month, I finished it a few days ago but couldn't post up a pic until now so here you go:



















I've been sleeping really badly recently but last night I slept for 9 and a half hours and woke up feeling fab this morning. I got lots of niggly things done and I feel much more relaxed about work now, thank goodness! Hopefully I'll get another good night tonight too!

Right, I'm not going to make any false promises but I am working on some smaller projects i.e. Emilys Art Journal so hopefully I'll be back soon with a bit more to show you.

Tut tut......no blogging for a week again!!!

Hmmmm, not good is it! I'm getting a bit slow at this blogging lark, let's hope I can rectify it over the coming weeks.

Main bit of news............I have finally bought my new baby.....a Nikon D80 and I'm chuffed to diddy bits with it, it's fab.

We went to Marwell Zoo on Friday, thought we'd have the day off after all the work we'd been doing and I took the new camera with me, here's some pics:
























I haven't been working quite so hard but there is still plenty to do unfortunately. I don't seem to be able to finish as early as I used to!!

I've been creative over the weekend but on something I can't reveal just yet, not long though......wooo!

I'm just in the process of making my first maze book so I'll show you that when I'm done and I also have a sample made up of my next "Make Me" project for the other blog. I'm not overly happy with it just now so I'll pop a pick on when I feel it's looking better.

Really, really big sorry..........I've been such a bad blogger!!!!!

April is officially the month from hell for me, I have worked soooooooo hard for the WHOLE month and there is still more to do. I've been starting before 6 in the morning and I have been shattered by late afternoon.

Hence, no blogging, no crafting.....just lots of trying to rest the grey matter!!

I'm still busy but I had signed up to a couple of things and the time is ticking by. The main one was the lil' swap Kathy was organising on B.F. It was to make 6cm squares to a theme of every ones choice that ideally would fit in a Maze book or maybe in a frame for display.

They were great fun to do, I just wish I'd been a little less tired recently but never mind.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel so today I have re-written my Crafting To Do list and I have one really important job to do........more details of that soon (wink wink)!! and then I will be back almost on track. I've purposely not signed up for any more swaps to give me a chance to catch up but I am way behind with Emily's Art Journal so I will try and do something about that soon.

On a more personal side of things, it was my mums 86th birthday bash last weekend (yup, I volunteered to organise)!! Here's a couple of pics of the day:
