Totally inspired by Irene Tan and the super gorgeous Bubbly Funk April kit (due out on sale on 1st April so don't miss it) I just had to do a layout. This will also double up as my Bubbly Funk retreat class thingy if we get time to do it. Personally I think I will be too busy chattering to do any crafting.
Mothers day card no. 2 peeps. I used a vellum base for this one and of course, stitching and lace. The butterflies I got down in Looe in Cornwall (2nd one I've used...getting through them ha ha)!
Well I've finished Ella's little book and box ready for my sister Sue to give to her daughter Vicki for Mothers Day next weekend. It's been dispatched off to our joint contact....our mum ha ha so I didn't have to risk posting it.
The photos have been blurred as we don't want Ella's photos pinched for any awful sites that frequent the internet but you get the idea of the book anyway.
I have to say HUGE thank you to Janice as she did an amazing job of doing the little monthly tags you can see on the pages.....thanks so much hun.
There's been alot going on here lately with hospitals, social services and the like so not had much time to create let alone blog but I do have a few things now to show you that I'll spread over a few days.
Here is a birthday card I made for a very special friend over on Bubbly Funk. Hope you had a great day Karen. Using my fave papers Basic Grey with my customary torn and distressed edges and stitching.....no lace though ha ha!
Another card from me, this time for Bubbly Scrumptious with the lovely March kit that has just gone on sale.
It's very tactile with the cute piece of fabric and fibres. I have flocked bunny's ears and used glossy accents on his pads and eyes as well as some buttons.
Stitching of course features on there somewhere but eeek...no lace or distressed papers...can I feel those withdrawal symptoms coming on yet LOL!
